This Cajun-inspired southern restaurant with a bar just recently expanded its location to provide more seating for its patrons, and good thing it did! Big Daddy’s is popular with those who love the taste of barbecue and the heat of the south. However, if you are afraid of all that heat, there are plenty of options on their extensive menu.
Whether you want meat, poultry or seafood, you will be satisfied with the menu, and with the addition of weekly specials. There are sweet barbecue items, spicy Cajun items and smoky southern items to choose from. The only thing you will regret about your meal is that you didn’t save the bread, just in case your dish lights your mouth on fire. I like to sip on their lemonade that they serve, straight from the south, in a mason jar.
A lot of the food measures pretty high up on the Scoville scale, but there are also a lot of tasty options for those who are sensitive to spice. The habañero butter, wings and jambalaya will set off pyrotechnics in your mouth, but that’s not without intense flavor.
If you are looking for a hearty meal to spark you taste buds, give Big Daddy’s a try—just make sure your beverage is always available.
