There has been a lot of talk about Moe’s Southwest Grill because of the do-it-yourself aspect and fresh ingredients.
First, the customer chooses whether they want a burrito, tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, nachos or a salad, and some of them have really great names, like the Homewrecker which is a very large burrito. Then the customer can choose whether or not they want meat and want kind. They make the meal right in front of your eyes, so you can add rice, cheese, black or pinto beans, guacamole, peppers, sour cream, lettuce, salsa or you can have all of the above, and more.
Every meal comes with a side of tortilla chips and they are not cheap with them, so you can choose to dip them in the accompanying salsa or add a side of queso to complete your meal. I added the queso because a friend recommended I do so, and she was right.
Be on the lookout! There are Moe’s locations popping up all over, with the newest addition in Commack.
